<p>Are you thinking of a BA or a BFA? Conservatory or college or university? </p>
<p>Most conservatories offers degrees in Dramaturgy and/or Playwriting and/or Theater Arts. The Theater Arts degree can include some or all of the above, depending on the school. Some schools give you the option of designing your own Theater Arts degree. The Theater Arts degree is often (but not always) a BA. The others are more often BFA degrees. </p>
<p>A more traditional BA in Drama or Theater at a non-conservatory college or university is likely to include a substantial drama lit component as part of the degree.</p>
