Economics 1 or 2. Introduction to Economics or Intensive Introduction to Economics.

Statistics 21. Introductory Probability and Statistics for Business.

Computer Science.
English/Reading and Composition Requirement (R & C). You must satisfy this requirement by completing courses comparable to both Berkeley’s English R1A and English R1B.

Go to the Letters & Science website for a complete list of courses that will satisfy the first half (“A”) and second half (“B”) of the R & C requirement
Reading & Composition | L&S Advising;

You may use first-half and second-half courses from different departments. Please remember that Haas guidelines differ from L&S guidelines. For example, for Haas one course may not be used to satisfy both a prerequisite and a breadth requirement.

Additional English/Writing Requirement. This requirement is in addition to the English/R & C requirement listed above and must be satisfied by the completion of one course in which literature or writing is studied, not including the courses used to satisfy the R & C requirement. The course must carry at least 3 semester units. Which writing or literature course you take for this requirement is up to you.

So, yes, some writing is required of you.

oh…and one more question…do u know when would be the right time to apply for HAAS?

The second semester of your sophomore year; Haas is your junior and senior year.

You must complete/will complete 60 units before you apply to Haas (hence you apply your second semester of your sophomore year).

oh ok , thanks

actually, you apply in the FIRST semester of your sophmore year…application deadline is November 30th

yea i just found that out…so wow…i have to finish all the prereqs. and the breadth courses pretty fast …

Slicmlic: thank you for clarifying that up. I didn’t do enough research (poli sci/rhetoric so not exactly up with Haas).
