Does McGill offer english comp or expository writing? I can’t find it on Minerva

Don’t know. But related: Do they offer an creative writing courses?

I do believe lots of McGill students actually take creative writing courses at Concordia.

if you want to learn English go to an ESL program

:p

I don’t want to learn english, I just need this class because graduate schools and professional schools require english comp or expository writing as a prerequisite

Unfortunately, McGill does not offer English Comp or Expository Writing courses; however, Concordia does: [Programs & Courses Creative Writing](http://artsandscience1.concordia.ca/english/PGCompCourse.html)

You would be considered a visiting student at Concordia. More info here: [Programmes d’échanges d’étudiants de la CREPUQ (PÉÉ)](http://echanges-etudiants.crepuq.qc.ca/Accueil.php3?id_article=202)

Would Research essay and Rhetoric fulfill English Comp, or expository writing requirement?

@ transferwanabe:

It varies with the med/dental/grad school. Some explicitly state that ESL, Scientific, Professional, Technical and Creative Writing classes do not fulfill the English requirement. You’d have to check with the school you’re interested in.

Hey Cassz, thanks for the advice, but i am taking the course for native english speaker, and i have the medical school i am interested in they were totally ok!
