My daughter would like to become an elementary school teacher. She is currently in grade 11.
She would like to major in English and minor in dance.
What schools do you recommend? Ontario/canada/(humour me and include international if you know of any)
What sorts of things can she do to give her an edge? She is currently in an arts program for dance in high school, a competitive dancer and volunteers at her studio to help with younger dancers.
Ontario universities generally won’t have dance minors. I could only find YorkU and TMU having dance programs. George Brown and Centennial College also have dance programs. My dancing daughter ended up teaching dance classes through the athletics department at Waterloo. After graduation, in Toronto, she takes adult classes at NBS and NBOC.
