<p>hi here, I’m a ccc student,applying to the UCSB with physics major. Would it be a problem for me to finish the first writing course by winter?? I’ve heard some of the UCs won’t look at the winter grades,like UCB. </p>
<p>There’s typically a section on the application for you to indicate the courses that you are currently taking, or that you will be taking in the semesters prior to transferring. As long as your English prerequisite courses are listed on there, it shouldn’t present a significant problem. It just has to be clear that you will have it completed prior to transferring. </p>
