<p>On Assist, English M1A is listed as a prerequisite for transferring to UCLA as an English major. I took AP English Lit/Comp in high school, but only got a 3 on the exam. My college used my 3 to waive out English M1A, but it does not count at UCLA itself. Should I put in the comments section that my school waived me out of the class with a 3 or will they know since I moved on to higher English courses?</p>

<p>if it doesnt count at ucla u MUST take it. even if u moved on u have to go back and take it. i got a 3 on the same test and i had to go back and take freshman comp</p>
<p>On their website it says it satisfies Entry Level Writing. I am applying right now and do not have any time to take English M1A. Will this appear as a missing prerequisite, or will I be able to retake it at UCLA (if I get in of course)!</p>
