You must earn 3 credits in composition, which I assume to be an english class. I don’t know about the community college transfer; if possible, I would advice to take AP English (Composition or Literature) and get a 3 or above on either test, if your school has them.

You can take them at a community college.

If you get about a 500/600 (dont remember) then you automatically test out of english 101. Then you just have to take 6 credits of a composition class. It could be a technical writitng class or a lit class. Whichever you want to take.

Theres also a word requirment, soming like 20,000 words, but dont really worry about that, you will take enough classes that its easy to get that done.

I have a question… I took ENC1101 and ENC1102 at Pensacola Junior College (dual enrollment). I also scored a 4 on AP English Language and am anticipating a 3-4 on AP English Literature. I’m majoring in either mathematics or a science. Will I have to take any English at UF?

Nope^^^^^^
