I am deciding to take AP English this year but not sure if I should take AP language and composition or AP literature?
AP language = writing essays, argumentative writing, a lot of non-fiction reading
AP lit = classical literature, literary analysis essays
Which ones sounds better to you?
Colleges don’t make a difference and often only offer credit for one, not both.
A teacher told me I should take AP language because I wanted to become a cop. But I like AP literature.
My brother is a cop. (Just became a captain). When he started, he said he didn’t realize how much writing was involved in the job.
For every little thing, you have to write report. Report, report, repot!!

Sorry, I am not from U.S. so my brother is a cop in my home country. I guess things are the same, though. Lots of report writing. He loves what he does (not the writing, but being a cop). Good luck to you!!
