<p>I attended BYU-Idaho and took English composition(first year english compared to most colleges and universities). I received an F. I switched to a community college and I passed the same class with an A.</p>

<p>Should I make up the BYU-Idaho english class? (I can make it up and replace the grade)
Will it hurt my GPA even though I took an equivalent class at a community college?</p>

<p>When I apply for transfer I want to make sure my GPA is as high as possible and I look like a good candidate.</p>

<p>If your CC english course is equivalent to the BYU course than the UCs will only consider the passing grade in evaluating your GPA. </p>
