English Writing Seminars taught by Grad Students

do they make good teachers? any opinions?

i wouldn’t worry too much about grad students. if they weren’t okay, penn wouldn’t let them teach. i mean, elizabeth alexander (think 2009 Inauguration) was a grad student at penn…

Grad students can be great teachers. Full time tenured professors can be awful teachers. My two favorite professors from freshman year were graduate students. How many years of schooling you have does not make you a better or worse teacher. Most people I know have good experiences in their writing seminars.

yeah the ones they pick to teach these are good teachers imo
