Enough for Ivy League?

I am a sophomore taking Alg 2/Trig advanced, AP Physics, Middle Eastern History, Spanish 2 , and English 2. I am also taking photography, I am a part of an elite choir group called inner choir, and am taking a STEM course. There are no honors at my school since I go to a boarding school and you had to apply. I am nervous that what I’m doing is not enough. Not many ap’s get handed out to sophomores at my school, but many of my friends are taking pre- calc instead of algebra. Over the summer I went to a leadership lab at Brown University and will most likely have an engineering internship next year. I have recently had the opportunity to join AP Art History as well, but I’m worried it might be too much, especially since I am battling homesickness. Should I still take the class, or am I doing enough for a sophomore? I really want to become an environmental engineer through Brown. I would like BRUTALLY HONEST advice on my chances and the best way to handle this situation.

Your courses are fine. You are a sophomore. Many schools don’t even allow sophomores to take APs at all. Be sure to keep challenging yourself and do your best.

I would not bother with AP Art History.

All any of us can do is do the best we can do. To improve your chances for colleges of your choice, do well in these colleges. Take AP when it makes sense. I would not take AP Art History unless you like Art History. Don’t take it just because it is an AP. Most sophomores in all schools don’t take AP classes…they are college level and you are only a HS sophomore. You are doing enough to be an engineer.
