Enough Time to Improve SAT or ACT Score?

Hi, recently I took the January SAT. I am a Junior this year and this was my second time taking the SAT; the first time I took it was at the end of Sophomore year. The my two scores only had a 10 point difference. I am considering applying to University of Miami and hope to at least get 31 on the ACT and whatever the equivalent of a 2100 is on the new SAT.
First Scores:
CR:600
M:600
W:560

Second Scores:
CR:670
M:580
W:520

Do you think that big of a score increase is possible from now until the June test of the SAT or ACT. Unsure which one I am taking yet the ACT seems more straightforward unlike the SAT where I have been making many simple mistakes. Does anyone have any test prep materials or class recommendations?

the NEW sat is very different, good luck

Yes, it is possible. Take the new SAT. It is easier. Just practice more. Write a practice test every week from now. Good luck.

My D preferred the ACT as she thought that test was straightforward. She really didn’t like the SAT. Maybe the new SAT is better and more straightforward like the ACT.

Yes it’s very possible to increase your score - at least on the ACT . My D took a precalc math class over the summer and also did a lot of heavy reading. She took the ACT in the fall of her senior year. Her math score improved by 2 points and her reading score improved by 6. Overall the composite score improved by 4 points.
