So I am attempting to enroll myself in a graduate course at my university and the department head wouldn’t let me despite the consent of the instructor.

Any ideas what I should do?

Ask the prof to go to bat for you?

Why won’t the department head let you enroll? Perhaps you can see him in person and discuss his concerns.
