Can anyone tell me what’s the bank account to which I have to wire the enrollment deposit? I just got my “Case for Cornell” yesterday and there’s not much time left to reserve my place. I emailed the admissions office, but I don’t want to wait until theiir reply. Am I the only one who pays the deposit this late?

Were you taken off the waiting list? If not, you were suppost to get “Case for Cornell” LONG time ago, like April long. But the enrollment deposit slip was not in the packet, but I think in the acceptance letter. You can’t get your Net ID without the deposit, so yes, everyone submitted it long ago. Call them IMMEDIATELY and hopefully they will fix everything. I think they wanted you to send a check, I don’t remember if they even told you their bank account.
By the way, I am from Chisinau…

Chisinau? Nice :D. One of my best friends is a girl from Soroca. I’m a transfer student and decisions for the School of Engineering have been made at the end of May…I told them like a week ago that I haven’t received my Case for Cornell, but they said I should be patient. I’m a bit worried however…

So the enrollment deposit slip did not come with the acceptance letter?

I got everything in the package, but there’s no bank account written anywhere. In order to pay with a check, I have to be given an account number: I can’t go to a bank here in Romania and tell them that I want to make a payment to Cornell University :).

Cataxxx, actually you can! ![]()
(You are from Romania??? that’s so cool, we are neighbors
)
The check they are talking about is an “international check”. The only think you must write on it is the name of the college & university, your name, the sum, and the reason for the check! -> That’s what I did ;)
