Enrollment up 20 percent

[… at a college with no grades, no departments and no majors.](http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2003898985_evergreen24m.html</a>)

It was older Ds first choice for years-

*in state * big pluses- both for tuition & location.-

  • it’s a place where I think if you know what you want to do, you can do it *
    within reason.
    Nice campus- trees, water, student run restaurant and organic garden. Some really smart and supportive instructors ( I had one for several classes at the community college years ago- one of my top 5 instructors & Ive had a lot :wink: )

I still really like it & even though older D decided to go someplace more structured, it may still be in her sisters consideration pool, especially after she takes a year off.

D never graduated— she finished three years. But she met her husband, an Olympia native, was married last November, and just presented us with a grandson! She’s deliriously happy. I believe there’s a reason for everything. Although she didn’t earn a degree, she met her “bashert” (how to translate? her destined partner). Luckily she’s only a two hour plane flight away.

Bashert = destined life partner
