<p>So I entered a contest on East-West University’s website a while back. It is a small private school in downtown Chicago that has about 1400 students. They called earlier today and said they I was chosen as one of the winners of the contest and that all I needed to do was meet with an counselor to discuss the details. I live about 2.5 hours away. It sounds fishy, but at the same time I don’t want to blow it off if it is legit. Anyone in the Chicago area or from another area that has seen this type of situation. Thanks.</p>
<p>That does sound very unusual. East-West University appears to be a legitimate though young institution. It’s regionally accredited, which is important. I’d be caught taking a day and going to talk to them.</p>
