<p>How strict are they when they say “in the past year”? I attended an exhibit that changed my life the summer before my junior year. The issue is that that was a year and like 5 months ago. Should I include it? I wanted to use that exhibit to expand on in the next question “Please tell us what you found meaningful about one of the above mentioned books, publications or cultural events” but would that be even worse?</p>
