Entrepreneurial experience for engineering jobs?

I’m an undergrad at a top 3 industrial engineering program. Just wondering what kind of experience would best position me for employment after graduation.
My first college summer I interned at a hospital and worked with the ER supervisor to increase efficiency in physician and nurse workflow. The following summer, say I built a mobile app startup (with apps ranking in top 25 of the category) with some decent grant funding (50-60K) that helped improve efficiency in hospitals and analysis was done to prove it.
How would this compare to a supply chain internship or consulting internship if these are the kinds of jobs I am targeting after graduation? I expect my graduating GPA to be a 3.4 or so. I’m just wondering what kind of experience would serve me best.
