As a freshman should i pretty much limit myself to 100 and 200 classes? How does the breakdown work exactly?

Entrepreneurial Leadership AEM 4360, for example, looks really interesting :)

you’re definitely NOT limited to just 100- and 200-level classes. in fact, i took a 400-level class second semester when i was a freshman. 100- and 200-level classes are simply more broad/generalized and the higher levels are more focused. keep in mind though, in higher level class, professors expect you to be able to do more independent work. it might be better to get a grasp of how cornell works first and take 100- and 200-level classes as opposed to throwing yourself into upper-level classes. it’s all up to you, though.

if you want to take AEM 4360, it does require permission from the instructor - so i’d email professor streeter and ask her about the class first.
