I never heard how these veteran Stanford EA posters fared in their admissions decisions. Could anyone please fill me in?

mm, I’m deferred…

sorry about not posting afterwards, but I had soooo much drama with family and friends to deal with it’s not even FUNNY, and that consumed my life for a while (in case you couldn’t tell). so life’s been pretty sucky over here, and I don’t think it’s getting much better any time soon. argh.

oh, my computer’s motherboard was burned and i was depress about rejection, so didn’t come back here.
but yeah, i was rejected. Sorry posted so late, you ppl have been wonderful, i should have listened. :(

Sorry to hear that, I’m sure both of you will get into excellent schools!

Entropic- I too was deferred. Tell me about it. Once I told one person at school what had happened, by the next day people I didn’t even know were coming up to me expressing their condolences.

college_hopeful – yeah, seriously! I didn’t tell very many people at ALL that I had applied EA, but suddenly my entire class was coming up to me and asking about it. and then they all said exactly the same thing–“OMG stanford sucks they don’t know what they’re missing!” which kinda lost its ring of truth once I heard it for the twentieth time. oh well, I love me my UC’s. so I’m determined to be well-adjusted about it. (and good luck to you with Stanford and everywhere else!)

thankfully (haha) my oldest friend in the entire world decided that she hated me, so that took my mind off the stanford decision for a while… that aspect of it worked out pretty OK (though I still have to deal with…her newly ex-boyfriend…and his PREVIOUS ex-girlfriend…uhm, yeah), but I wasn’t thinking about posting on CC for a while there :o

Yeah unfortunately I don’t have such nice state schools as backups. Actually my state school is a pretty nice school, I just want to get out of here.
