<p>Posting on behalf of a friend (work colleague). She’s a USC, family resides in VA.
She graduated from an international school (overseas) with GCSE O and A levels.</p>
<p>GCSE O level score was,</p>
<p>English A
Elementary Maths A
Advance Maths A
Sciences (Physics/Biology/Chemistry) B
Second language A
Advance second language B
Geography B</p>
<p>GCSE A level score was,</p>
<p>Geography C
Lit B
Economics D
English B</p>
<p>SAT score was 2100+. Not sure the break down.</p>
<p>She’s been working the last 3 years to save up money to pursue her education. She thinks she’s ready now. She’s hoping to enter UVA, but don’t mind looking else where. </p>
<p>Can anyone advice which Unis (higher overall ranking) she can put as safety schools and reach schools ? And schools that she might have a fighting chance to enter?</p>
<p>She’s interested in doing Pre-med + Majoring in Geography / Earth Sciences.
I’m not to familiar with Uni’s intakes using O and A level results, nor am I familiar with their “entry grades”.
Some schools we’ve checked/called them needed A levels as an entry (UVA), others just needed O levels (Was looking at ASU and University of Arizona)</p>
