Erg: math

<p>So, I really hate math…I’ve done well in the math classes (honors classes) that I have taken (B+/B’s) but I just can’t stand it.</p>

<p>Would my chances be hurt if don’t take AP Calculus, which would be my 4th year of high school math? I have a pretty tough schedule other than that…it’s just, my grades would probably be better in my other classes if I didn’t have to worry about math…</p>

<p>So, should I take the fourth year of math?</p>

<p>As much as it pains you, i think you should take it anyway. Any college would like to see you expand your horizons, and calculus AP is the most stereotypical way to do that. I know how you feel- calc brought down my GPA a little last year, and for some insane reason I stuck it out. I don’t particularly regret it- it was just a tough year.</p>
