Ok well, not really.
Does anyone know a store where I can buy a Pipettor* (might also be known as pipet aid)? Or do local universities/laboratories let you borrow/rent one? Basically, I don’t have enough time to order one from a science catalog. Help. Help. Thank you.

*Pipettors are these kind of things: http://images.google.com/images?q=Pipettor+&hl=en&btnG=Search+Images

how quickly do you need it? the sci supply places could probably get you one on tuesday morning via express overnight shipping…

could you give some examples? don’t say the Carolina Biological Supply Company though, because I just ordered stuff from them and it took 2 weeks to arrive when it promised only 3…

carolina or fisher scientific?

CALL them (not web order) and stress that you need it quickly

Ahhhh stop making false topics.

what false topics?!? dude, I really need the help–why would I be making stuff up?

give me embarrassiong topics. LOl

lol they’re the only kind a read!

Hey, I know it’s 2 weeks after you posted, so hopefully you’ve gotten it by now, but it’s called a micropipette. I did some work in a cancer lab this past school year… haha.

^^cool, what kind of research did you do? I’d love to hear about it! :)

I was a “Partner for the Future” at the Cold Spring Harbor Labs (more info here: http://www.cshl.edu/public/partners.html ). My research, in a nutshell, focused on a protein in retroviruses that could potentially cause cancer.
