On page 79, in the table for the stages of aerobic respiration, there seems to be an error in that the book lists that the “Split to acetyl CoA” occurs in the cytoplasm. I thought that this step in cellular respiration occurred in the mitochondrial matrix. Can anyone confirm that this is just an error on behalf of the book?
