Hey guys I was just wondering for Columbia Early Decision I misspelled a book’s name and even put the author’s name by it (the book was Founding Brothers by J. Ellis) but i put Founding Fathers by J. Ellis…then later on I mentioned the book again, but failed even more by saying Founding Father by J. Ellis…OMG IS THIS GOING TO HAVE ANY BIG IMPACTS??? i mean, it was an honest mistake cuz i read it like a year ago and didn’t bother to dig the book out of my closet to check cuz i thought i knew it back and forth

OMG PLEASE HELP. would they think I’m lying or something? Because I know the book backwards and forwards omg … i cant believe my luck…

It shouldn’t have a big impact on the admissions officers’ decisions. They are most likely too busy to scrutinize over every single detail. Also, I recently read a book that was a compilation of essays of students that got into Harvard. The editor of the book stated that spelling errors and grammatical mistakes were not edited out because they wanted readers to see what the admissions officers saw. Despite having spelling and grammatical errors in their essays, those students still got accepted to Harvard. I don’t think a simple mess-up on a book title is going to make a difference so don’t worry :)
