Essay about professional sports team?

<p>I was thinking of writing my essay for the topic of my choice about the professional Australian Rules Football team I support. I wanted to talk about how supporting the team has helped me grow as a person, and how I have attended a few events in which they teach underdeveloped areas the sport after school. I thought it could be considered a unique interest since I live 7000 miles away, but then I think it might be really lame to talk about a football team I support. I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on the topic, and if you think I should even try the idea, or throw it out and go in a different direction.</p>

<p>Sounds good. Just make sure not to write about the team. Write about its influence on you. Everything should revolve around you.</p>
