<p>One of the universities i am applying to is “Florida Institute of Technology” and they require 1 page 250 word essay. The topic is “Florida Tech’s location maximizes students’ ability to explore careers, gain work experience and conduct research with faculty in their major field of interest. How would you take advantage of these opportunities?”</p>

<p>Looking for some good tips/ideas on what i should do to have a strong chance of getting in?
Any essay advice would be appreciated :).</p>

<p>Go look at the website and see what kinds programs and opportunities they have to explore careers, gain work experience and conduct research. Then think about which ones you might take advantage of based on your own interests. The more specific you are, and the more you can relate your interests to concrete things about the school the better.</p>
