Essay blunder?

I think I might have made a serious blunder on my UNC CH essay. Will this hurt me?

The prompt for the UNC CH essay (submitted in Nov.) was “If you were principal of your school, what would you change”

My school does block scheduling and I didn’t like it, so I said I would remove it. For one of my points, I said that it is especially tough for AP students because you have to learn a full year’s material in 1 semester.
The part where I think I messed up is I also said …

that I had to stay up really late (maybe 3 am) on a daily basis because I was taking 3 AP classes in 1 semester, which caused me to fall asleep in class a few times, resulting in a few academic shortfalls.

Will they not like the fact that I slept in class? I know lots of ppl do it, but I wrote it in my essay.

Do I sound like I’m whining?

Will this hurt me? I didn’t realize when I wrote my actual essay. When you read the essay it doesn’t sound so bad. But, I fear that if they are skimming it, then they might read the part where I said I fell asleep in class, which might look bad.

it’ll tell the officers that u sleep and class and that ur not used to a heavy load… so if ur applying to a top notch or ivy league it’ll hurt u making the officers think if this guy cant handle heavy load during high school what’s he going to do in college

^^ thats not necessarily true.

they know youre human. they expect that.

Who hasn’t fell asleep in class?
No One

At least you’re being honest and candid. I think they’ll view this as refreshing. I see no problem with what you wrote. Relax.

I think it proves your point and it is honest. not a blunder

Thanks for the replies. I feel much better haha.
