<p>i dont know what kind of things to say. I said I would join the riding team and that would help me make friends and feel as if im a part of something bigger than myself.</p>

<p>You might consider thinking along the following lines (be authentic): starting a club/organization (or joining one that exists), demonstrating a real interest in a particular (or several) social causes, getting involved with student government, joining a special interest house, etc.</p>
<p>Sounds like a good oppty to talk about your interests in the past, and how you would continue/advance them at Skidmore, should you get in.</p>
