<p>So, the Jan. 1 deadline is horrifyingly only a couple of days away, and I’ve come to quite an impass regarding my general CommonApp essay. To put it very simply, I can’t find a good neutral party to read over what I wrote and comment on it. My essay definitely defies convention, and I fear that I strayed too far from the proverbial box.</p>
<p>Is there anyone out there who wouldn’t mind lending me 5 or 10 minutes of their time for a quick read?</p>
