Guys my essay is the worst piece of crap that has ever existed. It's disgustingly bad now that I've reread it. I think people would throw up just by glancing at it. It makes no sense and the transitions are terrible. TERRIBLE. They're so random. I'm pro at sabotaging myself. I would've been better off sending in a bomb or anthrax to the adcoms. I doubt many others else feel this extreme about their essays but I had to vent. This is gonna be in the back of my mind for the next 2 months gg

Hey, it’s okay. I’m having second thoughts on my essay too. I’m wondering if it was good enough and after I’ve reread it, I can see some errors too.

the application and the essay have been submitted and what can we do at this point?
It’s all in God’s hand now (and if you aren’t Christian, I guess Allah/Buddha/Fate).
I’ll pray for you that your anxiety will be alleviated.

Best of luck to both of us.
Hope to see you in Cambridge next fall :)

Try using more hyperbole.

That’s why I didn’t reread any of my applications after I’d submitted them. I doubt that your essays were as terrible as you think. Even if they were, there’s absolutely nothing you can do at this point except tell yourself that you did all you could do. Try to enjoy the few weeks that remain before the mass hysteria of college decisions starts and don’t dwell on what you can’t change.
