<p>You don’t have to quote people exactly. You definitely shouldn’t do the square bracket thing, but you could replace it with a “lighter” swear word (but it still has to be an actual swear word on some level…not anything too cheesy).</p>
<p>For example:</p>
<p>“It’s just that I was so goddamn angry all the time.” </p>
<p>“It’s just that I was so…angry all the time.” </p>
<p>The comma you have after “just” is kind of weird.</p>
<p>If you choose to use the original word, I think “*<strong><em>ing” sounds better than “</em></strong>*in’.” :)</p>
