Essay I'm sending to try and reverse my deferal

So basically here’s the cliffnotes to my situation:

Nov.1-Sent in essays, thought it was the cat’s pajamas

Dec.15-got defered, shrugged, sat on couch, watched the OC

Jan 3-The OC got cancelled, had a good cry, reread my Harvard essays because I had nothing better to do, realized that they were not the cat’s pajamas, tore one up and rewrote one.

Jan 10-Any one want to read my new essay? :)

I hope you aren’t a male, because that is just sad if you are. OC + crying = female.

sigh I’ll read it. Keep in mind I’m not a Harvard student. Just curious.

cat’s pajamas eh? ill read it

i’ll read it too

Hahaha I’ll read it. Your post made me laugh. And I’m sorry about the OC. I used to be a diehard fan until…the third season started. But I feel for you, it was pretty amazing.

ill read it and help

i’ll read it…

i shall tooo

j07, OC was **** for a while. It was much better recently.

I did the same. I may be able to help. i will read and comment.

I’ll read it as well. PM it over.

But my question: since you got deferred, do you really think you should send in another essay or replace the current one?

you already got enough people reading it, so i will just comment on how effed up it was that they cancelled the OC when it was getting good. I mean, right now the show is ‘first season’-good.
not fair.
anyway, good luck w/ harvard

ill read it

Ah nothing shall beat the rawness of season 1. I’ll read it - PM it over.

Ya dude i’m willing to read it, PM me. I agree, season one was the greatest thing ever

I think Season Two was waaaay better than Season One.
So the current order, in my book, in order of amazingness
2
1
3
Fair? I haven’t watched this season at all. After Marissa died and they changed it to come on at the same time as Grey’s Anatomy I thought it was kind of going downhill.

No…Season one was truly the work of gods…

Nothing short of ambrosia, nothing could top season one

then season 2 and 3 were really really really really good but they, like everything else, cannot top season 1.

this season i thought was shaping up to be like season 1…I was kind bummed out about marissa dying, but the OC without Marissa is alot less melodramatic, and alot more entertainment. But I dunno…I thought the episode today and the one last week were subpar on this season’s standards, just found them a little too hard to believe.

I think you can tell when a show is done when they start bringing in a lot of new characters. Does anybody remember Seventh Heaven back in the day when it was just the five original kids and a few of their random boyfriends? When the youngest one was all curly-headed and cute? And then she turned obnoxious after they straightened her hair, and the house was full of random people (like Mary’s ex-boyfriend and Tara Lipinski playing a prostitute and such and other strange friends and friends-of-0-freinds) and by the end there were 95 people living in the Camden house and none of the original kids.

And that’s when the show was done.
That probably made little-to-no sense, but it was my analogy. Sort of. Basically, when all these new people ended up in the O.C. (the weird surfers and Marissa’s little sister and so on and so forth), it just got confusing.

And now the OC’s gone…:(

I am thinking about going on a hunger strike until they reinstate it…

And as bad as it is for me to say this on the Harvard thread…my interest for Yale has been increasing because I hear Mischa Barton has FINALLY decided to go there next year…So what I’m thinking is if I can’t watch the OC in college…the next best thing is to have Mischa in my Psych 101 class, yes? :)

Here’s a poem…so everyone can sulk even more with me

Life Without The OC
An empty abyss…
Imagine walking through life without purpose
without a destination
without a Thursday night TV show to come home and settle down to
Ryan’s never ending aggression problem,Seth’s ill-timed jokes, Sandy’s pet caterpillars on his forehead
seeing these are a purpose for living for so many around the world

Enjoy it while it lasts, for Judgement Day is coming

lol i dont understand this OC talk

but ill read the essay if you want.
