Essay in general question

So I am both an Economics and Math major, so my courses reflect that.

On one of my application essays, where I was supposed to tell the reader about myself I wrote about this really challenging proof in my analysis class, that took me like forever many hours to write and how no one else in the class had been able to do it but I had and was only a freshman and everyone else was junior/senior in the class, and how the professor was amazed. The theme was about my approach/mentality when it comes to challenges. Whatever.

On the applications to most schools though I can only indicate one major, and I choose to put down Economics because it is more important to me, but will writing about something that a math major goes through when I am applying as an Econ major do anything negative? Comments please?

nah it’s fine

econ majors end up writing proofs, too lol
