Essay-Intro paragraph?

For the 25 minutes essay, which of the following for the introductory paragraph is better?

A) Short and concise, around 3 sentences, stating your point of view and thesis as the last sentence of the paragraph

B) long (around 5-8 sentences), stating your point of view and describing briefly each of the supporting argument.

Does anyone have any experience with the above two methods?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for getting a 12 in the essay component?

Thanks a bunch.

there are examples of both kinds of intro paragraphs in top-scoring essays, so you can probably use either one.
