Hi, is this true? the Common App essay should talk about a problem?
I was told so by an EUSA agent.

Anyone??? Is it true? Is the essay supposed to be a conflict and how you solved it? Cos I can’t think of a conflict that will show the adcoms my strenghts and weaknesses, just a couple of them but then that wouldnt be me, just a small side of me.

No, it’s not true.

Another case where the best advice is to look at the admissions pages on the colleges’ own websites.

Your GC may feel discussing a problem you overcame is the best way to reveal how you face challenges- and overcome them. But, don’t take my word- go look at the colleges’ web sites.
