Assignment:

To be… or NOT to be?

You’re not serious, are you? :P

I would probably pick “not to be.” :)

Think like Buddha…no desire = better life :D

So pick “not to be.”

For centuries, we have pondered the question “to be or not to be.” In literature and history alike, you will see that one must “not be.”

A perfect example of why it is “not to be” occurs in that Shakespeare book that the line first debuts in. I never read the book, and I don’t know which one the guy chooses. Oh well.

Another example of why “not to be” triumphs over “to be” occurs in history. On a fateful day in 1970 at a hotel in London, Jimi Hendrix pondered the question “to be or not to be a quitter.” He chose “not to be” a quitter, and continued his excessive drug use. I’m not sure what the result was, but his awesomeness today is a testament to why it is better “not to be.”

A final example of why “not being” is better lies in my personal experience. Life sucks. The only thing good about life is burning stuff, and even that’s starting to get old.

All in all, the emo emu said it best: “if I had arms I’d cut myself.”

^ lol, I laughed at that

Godfatherbob, that’s a definite 12 essay. :)

^I agree. lol
