<p>Yes, identifying your self-written prompt will help the readers know what they’re about to read. You don’t have to type it as a question if you don’t want to; you can introduce it as a sentence that begins your essay.</p>
<p>Does it look bad if i reuse my UC essay for my common apps? I am pretty sure other people will do the same, but I don’t want them to think I am being lazy. I just really love my essays for my UCs.</p>

<p>In my opinion,it really doesn’t matter if you state your prompt. The essay is about you and if you wrote a good essay, adcom will know what you wrote about after they finish reading your essay. Also, one of the admission officer told me that our essays shouldn’t be limited by the prompt.</p>
