Hello, i am applying to Wesleyan as a transfer and just had one question. What do i write for the essay? I called and the admissions directer told me that there is no prompt, just mail an essay. If someone could clarify, that would be great. Thanks!

Apply though the common application. You can choose one of the prompts offered. Or select the bottom box “topic of your choice”

for which you can simply tell a story, write an essay about anything that is important to you.

I took the “topic of your choice” and just wrote an essay about stargazing, and how after I moved cities the night sky changed and how that bothered me for a while. Sounds lame — but I whipped out some insane metaphors.

I just got accepted - early write on RD.
