Essay Question

I was wondering if my Yale essay is on a good topic. I wrote it about how I come from a small, rural town and how I wasn’t even thinking about applying to Ivies until 4-5 months ago. It’s definitely sincere and heartfelt, and the grammar/spelling is perfect as far as I can tell. I just thought it might make me stand out as opposed to writing about some accomplishment or another.

Any second opinions?

be honest, be sincere, be frank, and be unpredictable.

How about this advice?

Its more about how you write it, not neccesarily about what you write. As long as you’ve said something meaningful about yourself, you’ve written a good essay.
