I just finished my essay for my college in time for the November first deadline. I thought my idea was quite unique. However, I decided to search the essay prompt on the internet for fun after I finished, and lo-and-behold, some person on the internet put their essay up for advice that was VERY similar to mine, but in 2012. Note I did NOT EVEN LOOK at the person’s essay before writing mine, however the two essays are uncannily similar. My question is, will Admissions look at my essay and think that I copied the internet person’s idea?
What was the topic?
It was the UChicago extended essay, I picked the Where’s Waldo prompt
