Hello everyone,

I am writing an essay on truth commissions and war crime tribunals and I need a little help. I just need some tips on how to start it off, like a certain method. I know exactly what I am going to write for my body paragraphs and actually already have those down along with my quotes (I sort of just skipped over the introduction). I’m just having trouble properly writing the introduction.

This is the prompt;

Some commentators argue that War Crime Tribunals are better at doing justice and Truth Commissions are better at promoting political reconciliation.
Based on our readings about war crime tribunals and truth commissions what do they mean? Provide at least two arguments in support of this claim and two arguments that challenge it.
The paper should contain at least 8 quotes from the readings.

I’m not looking for advice on the essay topic itself, just a proper way of starting it, a format, a suggestion etc.

All suggestions are welcome, if you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
