<p>No, no no. The Columbus point wasn’t a point at all. It was an example of a cliche. People think that people constantly criticized Columbus. If it were an actual point, I would have included it in the thesis and expanded it. Yes, I know that would be a bad example. That’s why I didn’t use it. It LIVENS up the intro. At least that’s what I tried to do.</p>

<p>ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH. I can really see how people could misinterpret this essay. It’s really my fault. There’s too many things that can be seen the wrong way.</p>

<p>Man its time to let this thread die. Everybody’s said what they are going to say. For the record, I never contended this was a 12 essay anyway. I also think a regrade will get it slightly higher. Your advice has been helpful.
