<p>Can a “risk” I took simply be speaking in front of a large group for a presentation? Or is that too childish?</p>
<p>It doesn’t sound like a profound risk seeing as most students go through that… but if there’s something unique about your story (i.e. if you have a twist), then that could make for a nice essay.</p>
<p>I think a risk could be anything, it just needs relevance, weight, and perspective.</p>
