<p>I was having a bit of a dilemma on writing my personal statement. I was planning on using essay prompt #1, but my significant experience/achievement is over a very long term, being the process of reaching a goal over a few years.</p>
<p>Usually, I see example essays where the experience occurs in a few weeks at most, and often in under a day.</p>
<p>Is it acceptable to choose an experience that is much broader in scope? Should I perhaps change to the “choose your own prompt” selection?</p>
