This year I went through a ver tough situation. One saturday 2 months ago, my mom woke me up crying to tell me dad my dad, who whad suffered fron Parkinson’s disease since 2005, had passed away. This was a very tough date for me, because I was involved in two really big activities. I was the Secretary General of my schools MUN Debate Conference, which would take place on friday of the following week. Being the Secretary General meant I was in charge of organizing the logistics of the conference for over 300 students. At the same time, I was participating as the antagonist of the School Play (which is actually a profesional production). So after my mother told me what happened, I washed my face and went to the play practice for 6 hours, returned home and on Monday I was going to school to get everything ready for the conference that would take place on Thursday and Friday. It is also remarkable that I ended the Term with a GPA of 3.87 and a Class Rank of 1/115 even with all my family issues.
This leaves me with 2 questions.
- Is this good material for an essay?
- If good, how should I focus it in order for it to be more effective.
Thanks!
