I have two major “activities” that are very important to me and quite essay worthy- namely, theatre performance and science research. These two activities are what I spend the majority of my time doing, pursuing, etc… and I want to make sure the passion/time investment of these activities is understood by admissions officers, and not just in the sense of glancing over a resume…

That being said, I feel like it may be overkill to do a personal statement on one of the activities, the yale sup essay on the other activity and THEN have 150 word answer to a “meaningful activity” as well as a resume. I’m conflicted because I want the extensiveness and meaningfulness of my involvement in these two areas to be known, but not at the cost of sounding like a machine programmed to recite the importance of my resume at the push of a button… Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Danielle
