DD essay is complete for the Common app. She would like to apply to the UF and it uses the coalition app. The essay is a different word count. Would there be an issue with going over the stated word count? Would it reject the app.?
@FoxWarrior Do not go over the word count. It is there for a reason. Not following the guidelines that a college has set, doesn’t reflect well.
There was a website that interviewed colleges and the responses to this question was varied. I guess I will tell her to chop away. Too bad the various apps can’t agree on a word count that is consistent.
