<p>The requirement is 250-500. I’ve managed to shorten my essay is 530-550. Should I cut it even further?</p>

<p>mine was 950… and i’ve already cut it down as much as i could. i got accepted to SEAS. if it’s “interesting/funny”, then the admissions officer will have no problem spending a bit more time reading your entire essay</p>
<p>Mine was nearly 900 words and I got accepted. I think as long as it ready “fast”, then he word limit isn’t really an issue. If you can write 700 or 800 interesting words, then go for it!</p>
