<p>Is there a maximum number of characters for the commonapp essay? I’ve looked everywhere for this info but I can’t seem to find it.</p>
<p>The general limit is 500, I think.</p>
<p>Try to fit it under 700 words. However, going to the extremes (not recommended) does not equate to an automatic rejection, as my acceptance with a monster of a 2500 word essay has demonstrated xP.</p>
<p>But seriously, don’t go over 700.</p>
